By now it became quite clear that Eros International is making their debut into producing Telugu films in realtime as Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 99th movie “Dictator” gets rolled out on May 29th. Sometimes in Tollywood we have many big flicks getting their ‘muhurat’ clapped on same day. Here is what happening again.

Highly placed sources indicated that Pawan Kalyan is also going to kick start his most awaited movie on the same day. His powerful sequel, Gabbar Singh 2, will be rolled out from May 29th if we have to believe. However the shooting will not start in Hyderabad but at a village near Pune and then it shifts to Lavasa for filming of songs.

Already Devi Sri Prasad is heard giving impressive tracks for the flick, while director KS Ravindra (Bobby) is ready with stylish screenplay and powerful scenes to render Pawan in Khaki yet again.

In case if Gabbar Singh 2 starts on the same day of Dictator, no doubt there will be huge hype about the two flicks on May 29th. But GS2 has many times promised similar excitement until it have hand in the last moment. Hope the film roles out and Tollywood folks get maximum entertainment, everything just by a film’s launch.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has asked his fans not to follow a fake account in his name on micro-blogging website Twitter.

A “fake” user by the account name of @SrBachchanc has been re-tweeting the 72-year-old’s posts to its 13,800 followers.

“CAUTION: @SrBachchanc…notice the ‘c’ added .. this is a FAKE account, not done by me… please refrain from communicating to it,” Big B tweeted via his official Twitter handle @SrBachchan on Sunday.

Amitabh, who has close to 15 million followers on Twitter, is mostly seen active on it by keeping his fans updated about his day-to-day schedules.

He will next be seen with Farhan Akhtar in “Wazir”.

If grapevine is to be believed, buxom beauty Nayantara reportedly demanded whopping Rs 3 Crore to pair up with Chiranjeevi in his comeback film. Buzz has it that the makers have considered Nayan as good pair opposite Chiru for the landmark 150th film and approached her. Much to their dismay, the Simha girl apparently quoted a staggering figure of Rs 3 Crore.

Taken aback with Nayan’s stunning fee, makers of Chiru’s 150th flick are now in second thoughts of roping in Nayan. Talk is that the hunt for lead heroine opposite Chiru for his much-awaited comeback is on. Director Puri Jagannadh will be wielding the megaphone for this film. Chiru’s wife Surekha Konidela herself producing this film under their home banner. Ram Charan is expected to play an important cameo in the flick. If all goes well, the movie will go onto floors from August.

Look at the image, the first looks poster of Kamal Haasan’s latest movie “Cheekati Rajyam” (Toongavanam in Tamil) and sure they are gonna give goose bumps. This particular poster is giving jitters to film lovers as they could figure out something quite rude and only Kamal could do such feats.

Seen in the poster is Kamal grabbing a girl by the neck, planting something on her cheek and the gun in his left hand held against her waist. That’s quite frightful. Who’s that girl in that short black dress anyway? Going by the posture, height and other features, many guess that it is none other than dusky Chennai siren Trisha Krishnan. If it is really Trisha then sure this poster is going to send jitters.

While his “Uttama Villain” is still running at some places, though with bad collections, it is surprising to see that a veteran like Kamal is moving to his next project. When youngsters are taking months and years to finalise a project, Kamal is surely an inspiration everyone should whiff off.

After Mahesh Babu’s son Gautam Krishna made his debut as child actor in his One-Nenokkadine, now it’s the turn of his Alludu. Mahesh’s nephew and actor Sudheer Babu’s son Charith Manas is the latest entrant in tinsel town.

Not many know that Charith appeared in Sudheer Babu’s latest offing Mosagallaku Mosagadu. But Sudheer had been tight lipped on the development for a while and hasn’t revealed the news till the movie is released.

Sudheer is all praise of Charith. “Charith is so passionate about films. In fact, even I couldn’t do all the gymnastics that he could do. He’s good dancer and able to perform to Mahesh’s songs for four hours restlessly.

Charith is good in extra-curricular activities and also good student in school,” shared delighted Sudheer Babu. Apparently, grandfather and yesteryear superstar Krishna too is on cloud nine with the debut of his grandson Charith Manas. Looks like, one more next generation hero is in the making.

In yet another petition sent to police officials, maestro Illayaraja has urged them to take action against those using his songs without his consent.

“Through my fans it has been brought to my notice that record labels, radio stations and online pirates continue to make money of my music, despite an injunction passed by Madras High Court,” Illayaraja said in a statement.

“Hence, I have requested the director general of police (DGP), Chennai police commissioner and superintendent of police of all districts to take strict action in this regard,” he said.

The maestro said he has sent a letter to popular FM station Radio Mirchi to stop broadcasting the popular late night programme ‘Neenga, Naa, Raja Sir’, which plays his songs.

He also said that without his signed letter of consent, nobody should use his name, photograph and any of his compositions.

Actress Regina Cassandra will reportedly be paired with actor Vishnu Manchu in a yet-untitled Telugu film, which will be helmed by debutant Hanuman.

“The role was originally offered to Raashi Khanna, who turned it down for unknown reasons. Now, Regina has bagged it,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.

The film will go on floors next month as Vishnu is busy wrapping up Telugu actioner “Dynamite”, which is a remake of Tamil film “Arima Nambi”.
